Youth Councils 2006--Revolution

I just got back from the 2006 Youth councils and man was it awsome!!! We got there friday and the first meeting was about illusions and how the devil creates illusions. Their was this illusion maker and he was awsome!! Me and juliann looked at eachother in amazement after each trick. That night we went to see Dave and Brian, the comedians (i dont know if the names are right) but they were soo funny!! Saturday we walked around the lake, listened to amazing music by transMission, carole and lindsay came to visit, we celebrated all the birthdays (martin, seth, katherine and felix) and mainly hung out. Oh and we played laser tag, and allison, seth, and stephen sang we are marching in dairy queen. fun fun fun!!! Sunday, we went to the beach with cindy and she gave us all braclets and washed our hands. Then we went to the meeting, and jen gensler took me to aunt tams for taylors bday party. Star Search

Well yesterday was GNY Star Search and it was quite a hectic day. I arrived there at about 12:30 to go over my music with Lorena. Then at 2:00 the Singing Company preformed which was pretty interesting. Our first song was pretty good. Then on the second song, Send the Fire, during the piano solo, Lorenas music flew off the stand, and while we were waiting for the paino que, we missed our entrance so we didnt place but we werent expecting it. The jr. band placed 3rd which is pretty good for about 7 people. And I placed 2nd in Brass Level 3. Lorissa sang but didnt place but she sang in the meeting today...very well i might add. So yesterday was a very busy day!!!

What a Week!!

Well what a week this has been! Monday, me and mom and ris too went to the gym for a while and I ran 1.25 miles!! yay I was so proud..hehe. Then Tuesday we went to the corps and practiced star search music but since most of everyone was away in Italy or somewhere else...There were not sr. activities. The wednesday we went to the gym again!! Thursday...wow where do i start. Ok so this lady that lives next door to us, colleen, has three sons..joe, tom and vinny and they are all simlar in age to all of us. So the kids were at the park in our community when something happend with tom and this other little girl. So the mom of this little girl, Lisa and her husband, drove up to colleens house. Then lisa's husband started yelling at tommy so colleen comes out and drama starts...and while all this is going on we are watchign from the window (nosey neighbors)....but anyway they ended u rolling around on the ground pulling eachothers hair and punching eachother in the face...so joe and my frinend ryan are trying to break it up. Then the police come!! So this is why we are happy to get out of here soon. But anyway...Today there was a guy coming to my school to talk about gangs and the danger of them. But before the assembly, Mr. Rheume (principle) came on the announcments and said for all teachers to lock doors and close windows so we do that then my teacher is putting paper over the glass in the window so nobody could look in the class through the hallway and then we heard sirens approaching..later to discover the local fire dept was called and warned that a man was walking tword the school with a gun and later to find out it was jsut a turkey hunter! Haha! But the assembly was amazing! This man named Sergio from where else than....hempstead, LI!!! But he had quite a testimony and it was very touching.
